On Hold Rules are designed to automatically place a Sales Order "On Hold" if the order is missing information, the item is out of stock, or the order needs further review before fulfillment. Orders matching the criteria you define are placed On Hold at the time the orders are imported from the storefront into ecomdash. To configure On Hold Rules, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings Tool Right hand corner> Sales> click view on the On Hold Rules Tile
- Select the Storefront the On Hold Rules will effect. On Hold Rules are unique for each sales channel.
- Select the appropriate On Hold Rules to apply. If an order arrives without any of the selected fields completed, the order will be placed on hold automatically.
- Click Save. The selected Rules will be applied to all future orders. Orders already in ecomdash will not be affected.
