What is Target Inventory Level?

The Target Inventory Level is the quantity you prefer to have at all times for a specific product. You can set a Target Inventory Level for your products individually or in bulk using a file upload. This allows ecomdash to automatically fill out the reorder quantity when you add an item to a purchase order.

To set this value individually, navigate to Products > All Products > select the SKU > Actions > View. Inside the Product Details page, locate the Target Inventory Level field and enter a value, then click Save.

Then the next time you create a purchase order within ecomdash, the system will automatically calculate the number of units you need to order to get you back to your Target Level.
