How Do I Create a Serialization Field Set?

A Serialization Field Set is used to define the unit level information you would like to track for a specific product in your inventory. Before creating a Serialization Profile, you'll want to define a Serialization Field. Serialization Profiles can contain a single Serialization Field, like Serial Number, or multiple Serialization Fields, like Lot Number and Expiration Date.

To Create a Serialization Profile:

1. Navigate to Settings> Product> Serialization.

2. Click "New Field Set."

3. Name the New Serialization Field Set and select any Serialization Fields you would like to track with this Set> save.

4.  Once the Serialization Field Set is added, you will be able to add the field you would like to track by clicking the green plus sigh icon to the right of the name> add new field.  Then you will be able to Name the field, and select the data type from the dropdown> save.

Your Serialization Field Set is now complete. You will need to apply the field set to any Inventory items that will have unit level information tracked.
