Pitney Bowes offers Parcel Protection which insures your USPS domestic shipments against any damage or loss while in transit. They will insure parcels up to $10,000 in value.
Pitney Bowes will email you reports detailing any transactions you select for Parcel Protection on a weekly basis. They'll also automatically bill you for any transactions selected for Parcel Protection processed in the previous month.
To purchase Parcel Protection from Pitney Bowes:
1. Create a Shipping Order.
2. Click Actions > View to access the Shipping Orders Detail page.
3. Select Create Shipping Label
4. Select Print Label to select a Shipper
4. Set the Shipper to Pitney Bowes and a field for Parcel Protection Coverage Value will be visible.
If you've experienced any damages or if your package was lost during transit, you must submit a claim using their 3rd party claim administrator, PIP.
Pitney Bowes processes claims in 3 working days or fewer.
