How to Use Advanced Inventory Search

The Advanced Inventory Search feature allows you to preform detailed and precise searches of the inventory stored in your ecomdash account. This tool is designed to allow you to easily find specific groups of products using information outside of the SKU Number or Product Name field. It can be used to find all products with similar or missing information so these products can be edited or grouped together for other functions. To perform an Advanced Inventory Search, navigate to Search bar between the lighting bolt and setting tool and select Inventory Search 

Here, you have the option to create a new search by adding rules or groups. You can also select from any previous rules you have saved.

Use "+ Add Rule" to add a new rule and "+ Add Group" to add a new group

Click Search to preform a search based on the criteria you defined. This search returned all products that contain "hanes" in the SKU Number that do not have a supplier defined in ecomdash. Using the Assign Tags and Export Tools described below, this subset of products can easily be grouped together or collectively edited.

If you would like to save this search for later, click Save Filter. Note, this does not save the search results, just the search terms so they can be reapplied later if your inventory is changed or updated.

To export your search results, select Bulk Actions. You can choose to Export Selected Inventory (Use the checkbox to select specific items to export) or Export All Search Results. Once export is clicked, you'll have the option to select an export format.
