Syncable Balance is the number of available units ecomdash shares with your storefronts. This information can be accessed from the product details page (Inventory Management > Actions > View > View Sync Balances).
There are many settings in ecomdash that impact this field. Consider the Example Provided Below:
In this example our Sweater has a Quantity on Hand of 175. However, a balance of 175 is not being synced to any storefront. Here's why:
Amazon- The Syncable Balance for Amazon is currently set to N/A. This is because the Fulfillment Option is set to Fulfilled by Amazon. Since this item is listed on Amazon and being fulfilled by Amazon, Amazon is controlling the inventory level for this product and ecomdash is not syncing inventory to this storefront.
Jet- The Syncable Balance for Jet is currently set to 200. This is because ecomdash is configured to Always Use Max Available Quantity and the Max Available Quantity is set to 200.
Rakuten, Shopify, and Newegg CA- The Syncable Balance for these storefronts is 115. There are two fields impacting this value. First, a Product Reserve Level of 10 is set on the Product Details Page. Second, the balance in the Amazon Warehouse is not included in the Sync Balance. Therefore Quantity on Hand (175) - Product Reserve Level (10) - Amazon Warehouse Quantity (50) = Syncable Balance of 115.
WooCommerce- The Syncable Balance WooCommerce is currently set to 90. There are two fields impacting this value. First, a Product Reserve Level of 10 is set on the Product Details Page. Second, an Override Warehouse is set for the WooCommerce Storefront. This means only the quantity in the "My Warehouse" is being sent to WooCommerce. Therefore, "My Warehouse" Quantity (100) - Product Reserve Level (10) = Syncable Balance of 90
Etsy- The Syncable Balance for Etsy is currently set to 15. This is because the Max Available Quantity is set to 15 for Etsy, so a balance of 15 is being shared with the storefront.
3dcart- The Syncable Balance for 3d Cart is currently set to 95. There are two fields impacting this value. First, a Storefront Reserve Level of 30 is set for 3dcart. Second, the balance in the Amazon Warehouse is not included in the Sync Balance. Therefore, Quantity on Hand (175) - Storefront Reserve Level (30) - Amazon Warehouse Quantity (50) = Syncable Balance of 95
Missing Storefront- If a storefront is integrated with ecomdash but does not display on the Syncable Balance page, it means that storefront has been removed from the product. If a storefront has been removed, you can find an option to 'Add Storefront' by navigating to Inventory Management > Product Details > Storefronts Tab.
In conclusion, the following fields in eocmdash can impact your Syncable Balance. If you notice your Syncable Balance does not match your Quantity on Hand, you'll need to check the following locations to determine why:
Product Reserve Level (Inventory Management > Product Details > Inventory Section)
Storefront Reserve Level (Inventory Management > Product Details > Manage Listings > Channel Settings)
Override Warehouse (Settings > Storefront Setup > Storefront Details)
Include in Sync Balance (Inventory Management > Product Details > Inventory Tab and Settings > Warehouse Settings > Multi-Warehousing)
Max Available Quantity (Inventory Management > Product Details > Manage Listings > Channel Settings)
Always Use Available Quantity (Inventory Management > Product Details > Manage Listings > Channel Settings)
Storefront Fulfillment (Inventory Management > Product Details > Manage Listings > Channel Settings)
Storefront Removed (Inventory Management > Product Details > Manage Listings > Channel Settings)
Note: There are two ways to apply a Reserve Level in ecomdash, at the Product Level and at the Storefront Level. If a reserve level is set in both locations, the Storefront Reserve Level will be used instead of the Product Reserve Level.
