eBay Motors Parts Compatibility is currently undergoing Public Beta Testing. If you encounter any issues with this tool, please reach out to [email protected] with the SKU number and a screenshot of the problem.
The eBay Motors Parts Compatibility tool allows you to indicate other vehicles capable of using your products without having to create an additional listing. Parts Compatibility can be defined in ecomdash and this information is passed along to eBay as part of your listing.
To set up Parts Compatibility for an item, begin by navigating to the eBay listing attributes page. (Listings > Draft or Active Listings page)
Parts Compatibility is only available in specific categories. For a complete list of compatible categories, see the attached .pdf file.
Once an appropriate category has been selected and saved, a new tab will appear titled "Parts Compatibility".
From the Parts Compatibility Tab, click "Add New Compatibility".
A new window will appear within which a compatible vehicle can be defined. Name is internal to ecomdash; the remaining fields are shared with eBay. When defining compatible options, work from top to bottom. First, select a Year, then select Make, Model, etc. Once complete, click 'Save'.
Once Complete, a compatibility has been added. You may add more than one compatibility if needed.
You may now publish your listing or submit revisions to eBay and Parts Compatibility information will be updated.
