Tags can be used to easily filter for or group together related inventory items or orders.
If a Tag has not been used before, you may need to create a Tag before it can be applied.
There are several methods you can use to apply a Tag in ecomdash:
Manually:
To manually apply a Tag to an Inventory item, navigate to Inventory Management and click "View" to access the Product Details page. Existing Tags can be selected by clicking the "Select a Tag" box. New Tags can be added by selecting "Add Tag".
To manually apply a Tag to an Order, navigate to Orders and click "View" to access the Order Details page. Existing Tags can be selected by clicking the "Select a Tag" box. New Tags can be added by selecting "Add Tag".
In Bulk:
To apply a Tag or Tags to a group of Inventory items, navigate to Inventory Management and place a check in the box next to any items you would like to apply a Tag to. Use the Bulk Inventory Edit Tool to apply Tags to your selected Inventory.
To apply a Tag or Tags to a group of Orders, navigate to Order Management and place a check in the box next to any Orders you would like to apply a Tag to. Select Bulk Actions > Edit Tags to the selected Orders.
File Upload:
Use the process outlined in this guide to Apply Tags to Inventory Items through a File Upload.
At this time, Tags cannot be applied to Orders through File Uploads.
