Within the details of a sales order, you may set various order settings for record keeping purposes and to set shipping settings.
If you navigate to Orders > Order Management > Paid - Ready to Ship Orders and click into your sales order details (the binoculars icon), you can navigate within the various order settings, and take certain actions to ship an order.
The Billing tab: The Billing tab is where the customer information can be entered / is stored within a sales order.
The Shipping tab: Here is where you can enter the shipping settings to fulfill an order. You can also use the "Shipping Address Same as Billing?" checkbox to easily copy the customer information from the Billing tab into the relative fields.
The Custom Fields tab: If you are looking to store more data but cannot find a field for it, you can enter data in the custom fields tab for storage. Click here to learn more about Custom Order Fields.
The Shipping Orders tab: Within this screen, you can view any orders that have been created for this sales order. You can view the order number, status, create date, shipping address, and shipped date.
To Ship an order from within the order details, you can click the blue Create Shipping Order button. This will move your sales order to the Unshipped Orders section under Orders > Shipping Management > Unshipped Orders where you can work the order to be shipped.
