Cancellation Rules control how ecomdash manages inventory when orders are cancelled. There are two options for Cancellation Rules:
Adjust Inventory Quantities- When an order is cancelled, ecomdash will add the quantity on the order back to your sellable stock. These items are available for sale in the future. Your inventory levels will return to the level they would have been at had this order never occurred.
Do not Adjust Inventory Quantities- When an order is cancelled, ecomdash will not add the quantity on the order back to your sellable stock. Your inventory levels will remain as they are, and no adjustments will occur automatically as part of the cancellation process.
To configure Cancellation Rules:
1. Navigate to Settings > Orders > General
2. Locate the Unpaid Order - Cancellation Rule drop-down to choose your cancellation rule for unpaid orders
3. Locate the Paid Order - Cancellation Rule drop-down to choose your cancellation rule for paid orders
4. Click the blue Save button to confirm your settings. These cancellation rules will be applied to any future cancellations.
